Second Day of Physical Examination with Residents of Batu Ampar Bali, the Land Mafia Task Force Team Down the Mountain

Friday 10 February 2023
Warta Global Bali, Batu Ampar Buleleng - The Bali Provincial BPN Regional Office team led by Kakantah Buleleng has completed its work.  For two days from Thursday (9/2/2023) to Friday (10/2/2023) the BPN team has conducted physical research on a 45 hectare stretch of land which is now filled with wild plants and mangrove forests.

On the second day's agenda, the BPN Team focused on carrying out further physical research which was quite tiring because they had to go in and out of thickets of forest full of thorns and mud.
The farmers, together with Nyoman Tirtawan, enthusiastically pointed out evidence one by one, such as the remains of houses, former living wells and the boundaries of their land ownership.  The BPN team is also tireless in taking notes and checking with the juridical data they hold. The team that went down is also energized with the residents, not to mention the Polri and TNI (Babinsa) institutions that are guarding the security of this process running smoothly, we thank you.

The power of attorney for farmers, Nyoman Tirtawan, really appreciates the performance of the BPN Bali Team.  "First, of course, I have the greatest appreciation and respect for what the BPN institution has done.  How did the community show evidence including former residences, wells of life, and plants such as teak plants, and this has been appreciated by field researchers from the combined Regional Office of BPN Bali and Kantah Buleleng," said Tirtawan.

"My hope is that because they were victims of tyranny before, because there is already a bright spot, the commander in chief for eradicating corruption, Mr. Hadi Tjahyanto, really becomes the light of the farmers, and so far there has been a bright spot in the darkness<;  said Tirtawan again.

Tirtawan hopes that when there is a decision in favor of the farmer, the issuance of the certificate will be made free of charge.  There are several reasons that became the basis for Tirtawan's request, including that since being evicted from their land, they no longer have any income because they are not allowed to work on their land which has been fenced off.

"My hope, as the beneficiary of farmers and farmers, is that this process, if possible, in the process of issuing certificates, is free of all administrative costs because the community becomes victims.  the ground is walled up,” said Tirtawan.
